In Talk Ya Book this week, AFL great turned Cerutty Macro Fund founder Chris Judd discusses Airtasker (ASX:ART) with HD Capital Partners’ co-founder Harley Grosser.

Airtasker is an online market place for local services in Australia, connecting workers with businesses. Mr Grosser says it has been growing in the UK and US, as well as in Australia.

ART closed down 7.5% yesterday at 30.5 cents after releasing its June quarterly activities report.

The market clearly wasn’t impressed, despite Airtasker claiming it had ‘delivered on its promise’ with FY24 positive free cash flow of $1.2 million, up $8.8 million (or 115.3%) on the previous corresponding period.

ART closed the quarter with $17.2 million cash and equivalents.

Talk Ya Book

Talk Ya Book was created by Chris Judd in 2019 as a show where fund managers could share their highest conviction investment idea but more importantly showcase their investment framework to the public.

In 2023, Chris joined the people he interviews in the world of funds management by creating the Cerutty Macro Fund. Chris is the founder and portfolio manager of the fund which looks to invest in long term, secular, macro trends.
