Alligator Energy (AGE) has received a $152,400 exploration grant from the South Australian Government for its Big Lake Uranium Project.

The Big Lake Uranium Project is situated at the Cooper Basin in South Australia and targets known gas reservoirs across the Moomba Gas Fields of South Australia.

This grant is part of the Government’s Advanced Discovery Initiative (ADI) Scheme, which aims to speed-up mineral discoveries through exploration and research projects in regional areas throughout the state.

Alligator will use the money to reprocess existing geophysics at the project with aims to define target areas.

Geophysical surveys and drilling will then be carried out.

“We are hugely excited to receive such support and secure this funding from the South Australian Government to kick start exploration at our Big Lake Project,” CEO Greg Hall commented.

“The grant combined with easing of access restrictions is the catalyst required to kick start exploration at the Big Lake Project,” he added.

Alligator is steady on the market today and shares are trading for 0.5 cents each at 12:08 pm AEST.
