Lithium producer Altura Mining (AJM) has enjoyed record sales throughout the June quarter after shipping over 60,000 wet metric tonnes (wmt) of lithium concentrate.

Recently, Altura recently loaded 16,000 wmt aboard the Seastar Endurance. The ship has now left Port Headland and is heading to China.

This is the fourth shipment the company has sent for the June quarter, which has taken the total amount of product sold and shipped to 60,950 wmt.

Additionally, Altura has secured another shipment with 11,500 wmt, which is scheduled to leave in early July.

The company says its mining and processing operations have been reliable throughout this current quarter, with production on track to hit approximately 45,000 wmt.

“Our operation continues to perform at a high-level during a time of global difficulty for all businesses. We have delivered a record quarter in terms of product sold and shipped,” Managing Director James Brown said.

“There is no doubt we are still learning more about the entire supply chain and our production team continues to produce a high-quality product at a globally competitive price point, whilst our sales and marketing team have continued to ensure Altura meets its obligations to deliver product to our long-term offtake partners,” he added.

As a result, Altura Mining is up 1.69 per cent on the market this morning, trading for six cents each at 10:32 am AEST.
