Finance advisory firm Centrepoint Alliance (CAF) will see its CEO Angus Benbow leave the company on May 28.

“I take great pride in our accomplishments during the more than three years in which I served the company and the advisers and clients throughout Australia that we support,” Angus said.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have led Centrepoint Alliance through its transformation and repositioning at a period of such disruptive and significant industry change,” he added.

Prior to joining Centrepoint as CEO in April 2018, Angus was CEO at the Shadforth Financial Group.

He has also held general management roles at Perpetual and supported the executive team at News Corp Australia for a short period.

Angus has over 20 years’ experience of strategic leadership and a comprehensive background in wealth management.

“We thank Angus for the contribution he has made to Centrepoint Alliance, particularly the repositioning of the advice business through his leadership of the Strategic Refresh transformation,” Chairman Alan Fisher commented.

“Angus leaves the company in a strong financial position and with an enhanced reputation for its professional delivery of services to financial advisers,” he said.

“He has led Centrepoint Alliance through an unparalleled period of change in the financial services industry,” he added.

Centrepoint has ended the day 9.26 per cent in the red with shares trading at 24.5 cents in a $38.95 million market cap.
