Anson Resources (ASN) has updated the market on the completion of site works at its Paradox lithium and bromine project based in Utah.

The company announced the completion of two lithium and bromine brine production wells.

The wells, LCW-1 and LCW-2 are part of an 80-acre lease granted to Anson under the Utah State Government’s Other Business Arrangement.

ASN said the site works were completed within two months of the Utah government’s approval.

The site works included drill pads that are located 180 metres from a pre-existing lithium structure, Roberts Rapture and two access roads for trucks to enter and leave the site.

The company said drilling of the production wells would begin in the first quarter of next year.

Anson also expects engineering studies to be completed in the June quarter of next year. These studies are being conducted by Worley for a definitive feasibility study as part of the development of the lithium production facility.

Anson Resources shares were down 2.27 per cent to trade at 10.8 cents a share at 12:04 pm AEDT.
