- Anson Resources (ASN) sees lithium grades increase by up to 70 per cent from its resource expansion drilling program at the Paradox Lithium Project in Utah
- These increases come from brine samples taken from Clastic Zones 17, 19, 29 and 33 at the Long Canyon No. 2 well
- Overall, up to 191ppm lithium, 3862ppm bromine and 1131ppm boron was encountered with the results indicating the lithium grades increase from north to south
- Anson will use the results to confirm a JORC resource upgrade, which will be included in the definitive feasibility study

Anson Resources (ASN) has seen lithium grades increase by up to 70 per cent from its resource expansion drilling program at the Paradox lithium project in Utah.
The increases come from brine samples taken from Clastic Zones 17, 19, 29 and 33 at the Long Canyon No. 2 well.
Latest results included 189 parts per million (ppm) lithium, 3576ppm bromine and 1131 ppm boron in Clastic Zone 29, and 191ppm lithium, 3862ppm bromine and 1123ppm boron in Clastic Zone 19.
According to the company, the results indicate the lithium grades increase from north to south within the Paradox project area.
Anson will use the results to confirm a JORC resource upgrade, resulting in an extension of the indicated and inferred resource to the south and upgrading the existing inferred resources and exploration target into inferred and indicated.
Additionally, the mineral resource may be increased by re-entering historical holes in the western areas which are currently classified as inferred.
The upgraded resource will then be included in the definitive feasibility study currently underway.
Shares in Anson were up eight per cent and were trading at 13.5 cents at 10:23 am AEST.
