Anson Resources (ASN) has accepted an oversubscribed placement, bringing the total over $1 million.

On Wednesday, the company received firm commitments of $900,000 for its top-up placement for 1.85 cents per share.

Now, Anson has accepted oversubscribed and has received firm commitments for an additional $260,000, bringing the total funds raised to $1.16 million.

Anson will issue over 22 million shares, adding to the 40.5 million already issued, under the placement to professional and sophisticated investors.

Funds raised will be used for its flagship Paradox Brine Project in Utah, United States. It is planning to begin a pre-feasibility study (PFS) this quarter.

The company is also planning to begin exploration on its uranium and vanadium lode claims at its Yellow Cat Project.

The company has started to explore the project due to the uranium price increasing 38 per cent in the past three months and the recent USA Government policy changes that support domestic uranium production.

Anson is down 4.76 per cent on the market this afternoon and is trading for 2 cents per share at 1:58 pm AEST.
