Arrow Minerals (AMD) has extended significant gold anomalism at the Dassa Project in Burkina Faso to a length of five kilometres.

A 235-hole auger sampling program was undertaken to target the southern extension of the recently identified Dassa gold discovery.

This program has successfully expanded the known gold-bearing strike length from three kilometres to five kilometres.

Additionally, the majority of the gold corridor hosts more than 0.5 parts per million (ppm) gold, with peaks of 0.85ppm gold.

Arrow is now continuing with a 3500-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at Dassa to target down-dip extensions along strike of a previous discovery that returned up to 13.1g/t gold.

“The Dassa project continues to grow as we proceed with reverse circulation and auger drilling. We anticipate completion of our ongoing RC program in the coming weeks,” Managing Director Howard Golden said.

“These auger results constitute an important extension to our drilling target and increase our confidence that Dassa has great potential to produce a continuous mineralised zone of significant strike length,” he added.

Arrow has ended the day in the grey with shares trading for 1.1 cents each in a $13.20 million market cap.
