Artemis Resources (ARV) has found lithium-bearing pegmatites at its Osborne joint venture it shares alongside GreenTech Metals (GRE) in WA’s West Pilbara.
Significant assays reported today included 1.8 per cent lithium oxide, 1.70 per cent lithium oxide and 1.68 per cent lithium oxide.
Under the JV, Artemis holds a 49 per cent interest with GreenTech reserving its right to earn up to 51 per cent as project manager.
Meanwhile, Artemis holds a 9.67 per cent interest in GreenTech.
GreenTech has previously noted its Kobe lithium prospect extends into the tenement area bounding the JV exploration area.
Artemis is now on the track towards finding further lithium-bearing pegmatites on its tenements.
A fresh review of old geochemical data also suggested that further lithium remains onsite to be found.
Artemis shares were up 5 per cent to 2.1 cents at 2:36 pm AEST.
