Aruma Resources (AAJ) has completed two phases of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Saltwater Gold Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The Saltwater Gold Project covers 736 square kilometres and is located around 100 kilometres southwest of Newman.

A total of 40 holes, for 4518 metres, were drilled over the two phases. Of this, 31 holes targeted old workings at the western outcropping section of the Saltwater Ring Structure. This is a 60-square kilometre magnetic ring structure located at the historical area of the project.

A further nine holes, for 900 metres, of step-out drilling targeted areas undercover.

Aruma expects to receive assay results in January or February next year.

Depending on the results it receives, Aruma is planning to undertake up to 20,000 metres of further drilling at the Saltwater Project. The company already has a program of works approval in place for this.

Additionally, Aruma is planning to conduct exploration at the Melrose and Scotia South gold projects – both of which are located in Western Australia.

Aruma Resources is trading flat at 0.7 cents in early afternoon trade.
