Aspermont’s (ASP) agricultural media brand division Kondinin has been awarded a $2.3 million government grant.

The Federal Drought Resilience Innovation Grant was awarded by the Minister for Agriculture and Northern Australia, David Littleproud.

“This $2.3 million grant confirms that the Australian Federal Government recognises and supports Kondinin as brand leader in the Australian agricultural sectors,” Aspermont Managing Director Alex Kent said.

“Our voice is heard, and our influence is recognised in agriculture as well as in the global mining and energy sectors.”

The grant will cover the implementation of Kondinin’s Drought Resilience Program for Agriculture Research.

This program will provide Australia’s farmers with thorough drought-related information and guidance in strategies and technologies for drought mitigation.

“Kondinin Group has provided independent and reliable information to Australian farmers for nearly 60 years and this government grant acknowledges our important role in producing practical information for farmers to improve drought preparedness,” Kondinin General Manager Ben White said.

Aspermont has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 1.8 cents.
