The ASX is expected to open flat on Wednesday following a muted session on Wall Street.

Yesterday, the RBA released its April minutes for when it decided to pause further rates hikes, detailing that it was a close but necessary decision to buy time for further economic data to be assessed.

Following a night of mixed earnings reports in the US, here are some ASX-listed companies to look out for during Wednesday’s trade:

Vulcan Energy Resources (VUL) has provided its investors with an update on financing activities for phase one of its Zero Carbon Lithium project.

The company confirmed its debt financial advisor, BNP Paribas, had approached several government-backed export credit agencies (ECAs) that have since vowed their support over the project’s phase one financing.

Vulcan said the total CAPEX for phase one sat at an estimated €1.496 billion (A$2.439 billion).

Also, the company remains in “active discussions” with strategic investors for equity investment at a project level into its phase one commercial, integrated lithium and renewable energy project.

Shares in VUL last traded at $5.93.

Meanwhile, Lunnon Metals (LM8) has struck massive nickel sulphides at the East Trough prospect, located in the backyard of its Baker deposit in Western Australia.

As part of recent drilling, the company struck 0.38 metres at 13.83 per cent nickel, 0.5 per cent copper, 0.2 per cent cobalt, 1.49 grams per tonne (g/t) palladium and 0.73 g/t platinum in one drill hole.

Lunnon said the hits opened the door to possible future Baker Resource extensions.

Ardiden (ADV) has announced the appointment of its newest CEO and Managing Director, Gregory Romain, who will assume the role on April 24.

Mr Romain has more than 30 years of industry experience and most recently served as President and CEO of TSX-V-listed Gowest Gold.

Ardiden said Mr Romain brought a range of leadership, commercial and technical skills to the role and had a deep understanding of both mining and exploration in Canada.

In healthcare, Amplia Therapeutics (ATX) has recruited and commenced the dosing of the first patient in cohort three of its ongoing phase 1b/2a Accent trial in Pancreatic Cancer.

Cohort three includes three patients receiving an increased dosage of Amplia’s AMP945 treatment following the safe and well-tolerated dosage in cohort two.

Through the Accent trials, AMP945 is dosed orally, as a capsule, in the lead-up to and between standardised weekly dosing of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel chemotherapy.

“We are very pleased with the recent progress in the Accent trial, and moving rapidly to cohort three is the next step in identifying a safe and effective dose to take forward to the phase two stage of the trial,” ATX CEO and Managing Director Chris Burns commented.

Shares in ATX last traded at 9 cents.

Back to the materials sector, Cygnus Metals (CY5) has reported its best-to-date assay results following a recently-completed drilling campaign at its Pontax lithium project in Quebec, Canada.

Assays included its best-to-date hit of 23.4 metres at 1.4 per cent lithium oxide, as well as 3.3 metres at 1.5 per cent lithium oxide from 214.8 metres.

The company said its next 12 months included a comprehensive exploration program that encompassed high-priority projects such as its Pontax, Auclair and Sakami.
