Audio Pixels Holdings (AKP) has finally received its product order from China following delays due to COVID-19.

The digital loudspeaker tech company said the microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) wafers arrived from China after the country experienced its worst outbreak of COVID-19 since 2020.

Audio said the wafers have been measured, tested and qualified to meet the company’s electromechanical requirements and specifications.

The company said it was awaiting receipt of a few critical components needed to package the chips and assemble them into the newly designed demonstration systems.

Audio’s patented technologies generate sound waves directly from a digital audio stream using MEMS.

Its technological platform for reproducing sound allows the production of an entirely new generation of speakers the company believes will exceed the performance specifications and design demands of the world’s top consumer electronics manufacturers.

AKP shares were steady at $18.37 at 10:20 am AEST.
