Aurumin (AUN) has received additional high-grade results from sampling at the Mt Dimer project in Western Australia.

The sampling followed up positive composite sample results from a reverse circulation drilling program undertaken at the project in July this year.

These one-metre assays are from the Lightning and LO3 deposits and build on the last batch of results released in September.

Best results from Lightning include six metres at 1.25 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from 108 metres including one metre at 3.01g/t gold from 108 metres.

Highlights from the LO3 deposit include four metres at 3.07g/t gold from 95 metres including one metre at 7.36g/t gold from 98 metres and one metre at 23.4g/t gold from 39 metres.

With the data from these additional results combined, updated drill intercepts include 10 metres at 20.22g/t gold from 104 metres including one metre at 153.5g/t gold from 106 metres from Lightning and six metres at 16.19g/t gold from 61 metres including one metre at 54.8g/t gold from 62 metres at LO3.

Aurumin said the results highlighted the potential for follow-up work in future drilling.

Company shares were down 2.7 per cent to close at 18 cents.
