Ausmon Resources (AOA) will commence field exploration in Broken Hill next week, following travel restriction being lifted in New South Wales.

The company has three exploration licenses, EL 8745, 8746 and 8747, near Broken Hill. In 2019, Sampling, surveys and mapping was undertaken at the prospects and has encouraged Ausmon to further explore the area.

Chief Technical Officer, Mark Derriman, will join the team in Broken Hill on Monday, June 22, where he will oversee a two-week phase one program. The phase one program includes sampling, mapping and drilling.

Phase two will be shortly followed in August, with reverse circulation (RC) drilling planned at Stirling Vale, within EL 8747. The RC drilling will test for cobalt, gold and base metals.

Phase one program

EL 8747

In this prospect, the company is planning to complete a detailed geological mapping and to review access and site conditions for drill collars along Stirling Vale.

EL 8745

In this area, the crew will carry out soil sampling, rock sampling and mapping at three key areas. The goal of this exploration program is to define drilling targets to be tested in the future.

EL 8746

The company plans to carry out follow-up sampling to the orientation sampling that was collected in May last year.

Ausmon is down 16.7 per cent on the market today and is selling shares for 0.3 cents each at 11:18 am AEST.
