Australasian Metals (A8G) has made its debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE).
The company successfully applied for its shares to be listed on the FSE and has begun trading under the code 8ON.
By listing on one of the world’s largest trading centres, and the largest of the eight stock exchanges in Germany, Australasian Metals has the opportunity to broaden its shareholder base and increase general liquidity of its shares by accessing new capital markets.
Moreover, the company said the quotation on the FSE coincides with increased attention from investors on junior lithium explorers.
Known formerly as Australasian Gold, the junior exploration company has gold projects in Queensland and Western Australia, as well as a lithium project portfolio in the Northern Territory.
At the end of 2021, A8G reported the detection of high priority pegmatite and lithium at its Mt Peak project, and more recently expanded its Barrow Creek lithium project.
The company maintains its commitment to exploration, discovery and development or commercialisation of opportunities in battery and precious metals.
Ausralasian Metals’ ASX-listed shares were up 3.7 per cent to trade at 55 cents at 12:27 pm AEDT.
