BBX Minerals (BBX) has received assays from hole TED-002 at the Tabocal prospect within the Três Estados project, Brazil.

The hole was assayed for gold, platinum, iridium and rhodium with scattered platinum encountered close to surface.

Results include two metres at 6.90g/t 5E platinum group metals (PGM) (6.60g/t platinum and 0.30g/t rhodium) from two metres.

Other results include four metres at 2.81g/t 5E PGM (2.65g/t platinum, 0.08g/t rhodium and 0.08g/t gold) from six metres.

“We are very pleased to see another hole similar to TED-001 present itself in the eastern end of Tres Estados,” CEO Andre Douchane said.

“Given the excellent grades and continuity, we will also assay TED-003, TED-004, and TED-005 so that they can be included in the JORC resource calculation. We will then move our assaying efforts to Ema.”

Earlier in the month, BBX encountered “scattered” mineralisation in holes TED-018 and TED-019 at Três Estados.

TED-018 intersected scattered iridium and platinum values while TED-019 intercepted occasional platinum and iridium.

Shares in BBX were up 5.71 per cent on the market and were trading at 7.4 cents at 12:08 pm AEST.
