Gold miner Black Cat Syndicate (BC8) has provided updates on extensional and infill resource drilling at deposits at its Kal East Gold Project

The project comprises 756-square-kilometres of highly prospective tenements to the east of Kalgoorlie, WA.

Black Cat drilled 13 diamond holes at the Imperial and Majestic assets in late 2020. Results from the final nine holes show multiple high-grade zones, indicating strong structural continuity up to 75 metres below the current resource.

Significant results from the final nine holes include one metre at 13.4 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold from 294.20 metres and 0.29 metres at 12.1g/t gold from 301.67 metres, 0.48 metres at 40.23g/t of gold from 413.43 metres and 0.34 metres at 14.3g/t of gold from 476.4 metres.

Managing Director, Gareth Solly commented on the results, saying, “Majestic continues to show potential for a long-life underground operation. The new results demonstrate the continuation of the primary mineralisation roughly 75 metres below the current Resource and will be used to estimate a new Resource to be announced later in March 2021”.

Finglas Fortune

Infill drilling at Finglas Fortune, continues to confirm the company’s structure and grades expectations.

Of the 34, out of 75 holes returned to date, 90 per cent contain mineralisation with multiple intersections in each hole. Black Cat says these results will be included in a resource update to be estimated later this month.

The Finglas Fortune deposit remains open in all directions.

Ongoing drilling

Black Cat says its ongoing drilling program is progressing well with roughly 57,000 metres completed since July last year. A reverse circulation rig is currently drilling extensional holes beneath the Imperial deposit.

Black Cat Syndicate is down 6.98 per cent and trading at 60 cents a share at 10:24 AEDT.
