Breaker Resources (BRB) has reported more positive drilling results from the Quarries-Carbineer and Bombora Deeps areas.

Quarries-Carbineer and Bombora Deeps are both located adjacent to and below the one-million-ounce Bombora gold deposit which is part of the Lake Roe Project in Western Australia.

Quarries-Carbineer

Drilling at Quarries-Carbineer included 12 reverse circulation (RC) holes for 1617 metres, one pre-collared diamond hole for 184 metres and one diamond hole for 222 metres.

Pleasingly, all 12 holes have intersected significant gold mineralisation. These results have upgraded the potential for west-dipping mineralisation over a 1.5-kilometre strike length that extends from the Bombora South prospect into the Carbineer prospect.

Best results include 10 metres at 6.18g/t gold from 140 metres including six metres at 10.22g/t gold from 144 metres and four metres at 14.11g/t gold from 144 metres.

Bombora Deeps

Drilling at the Bombora Deeps area included four diamond holes for 2726 metres and one pre-collared diamond hole for 955 metres.

This drilling was conducted to prepare for resource definition drilling that’s aimed at growing the resource and de-risking the Lake Roe Project.

Best results include 5.12 metres at 3.16g/t gold from 323 metres, including 3.7 metres at 4.27g/t gold and 0.65 metres at 12.31g/t gold from 325.85 metres.

Further significant results include 24.2 metres at 0.48g/t gold from 495.7 metres, including 7.6 metres at 1.09g/t gold and 0.3 metres at 17.41g/t gold.

Executive Chairman Tom Sanders considers the results from both areas as a testament to the scale and potential of the nine-kilometre gold system at Lake Roe.

“When you look at the aircore drilling side-by-side with the RC and diamond drilling, it is clear that the aircore drilling is working and that there are many targets where we can expect to find more gold,” Tom said.

Importantly, the latest results from Bombora Deeps have increased the strike length of high-grade lodes below the open pit resource to roughly 2200 metres.

These lodes now extend to a maximum depth of 730 metres below surface.

Company shares have dropped 6.12 per cent and are trading for 23 cents at 2:01 pm AEST.
