Breaker Resources (BRB) has received more encouraging results from infill drilling at its Lake Roe Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

The high-grade results come from the Bombora deposit and from the Crescent-Kopai and Carbineer areas, which are being explored ahead of the maiden mineral resource next month.

Bombora

Reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling is targeting resource growth to support a major gold development.

Pleasingly, results from two infill diamond holes have highlighted the continuity of a two-kilometre-long high-grade lode system below the one-million-ounce open-pit resource.

Best results include 12.8 metres at 3.62g/t gold including 2.3 metres at 12.08g/t gold from 571.4 metres, 9.75 metres at 3.21g/t gold including three metres at 9.27g/t gold from 660.3 metres and 9.69 metres at 3.44g/t gold including three metres at 6.64g/t gold from 544.83 metres.

“The diamond drill results from Bombora are significant because they are the first 80-metre-spaced infill holes into the two-kilometre-long high-grade lode system situated below the one-million-ounce open pit resource,” Executive Chairman Tom Sanders said.

Crescent-Kopai

RC drilling at Crescent-Kopai is mapping the extent of gold mineralisation ahead of the upcoming mineral resource estimate.

Results have been received for 19 RC holes, with best results including 12 metres at 3.85g/t gold including eight metres at 5.71g/t gold from 144 metres and five metres at 3.85g/t gold including three metres at 5.88g/t gold from 34 metres.

These assays confirm the potential for ongoing growth both within the 1800-metre-by-300-metre mineralised zone and where the deposit is still open along strike.

Further drilling is planned to outline the extent and controls of mineralisation and to follow the gold that’s open along strike.

Carbineer

The Carbineer prospect is located between 400 and 700 metres east of the Bombora deposit and is known to host significant mineralisation.

The latest results account for 11 holes drilled for over 2000 metres.

Best results include 12 metres at 0.82g/t including eight metres at 1.04g/t gold from 148 metres and 12 metres at 0.75g/t gold including four metres at 1.44g/t gold from 72 metres.

Based on the results, drilling has indicated potential for a 1500-metre mineralised zone directly east of Bombora.

Assay results are pending for several diamond holes and 72 RC holes.

Breaker’s shares ended the day in the grey to trade at 18.5 cents.
