Brookside Energy (BRK) reported its operations were proceeding on schedule, safely and without incident at its Flames Well in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma.

The company has completed the circulation of drilling fluids to clean up and remove any remaining debris from the milling of the isolation plugs and stimulation process prior to the commencement of flow-back operations.

Meanwhile, the Flames location has been connected to the Enerfin Resources Company’s gas sales pipeline and an Enerfin gas sales meter has been installed.

Further, Brookside has installed a flowline manifold, with the flowline connected from the wellhead to the tank battery and inspected.

The company has also set and tested it temporary facilities, flowback sand separator and a three-phase test unit.

Brookside’s next steps will be to prepare for the commencement of flow-back operations from the well.

The well will be flowed to temporary facilities, which are designed to remove sand and other debris, on location as the stimulation fluids start to be recovered.

The Flames Well is Brookside’s third well in the SWISH area of interest.

Shares in Brookside were up 7.14 per cent, trading at 1.5 cents at 12:15 pm AEST.
