Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) progresses Rangers Well

Brookside Energy (BRK) has progressed its Rangers Well in the SWISH Area of Interest, located in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma.

Operations at Rangers Well have been continuing safely and without incident.

The company has successfully set and cemented the surface casing and installed and tested the well head and blowout preventer (BOP) stack.

Following this, Brookside commenced drilling and, as of Tuesday, December 21, the well has been drilled to a depth of around 8640 feet.

Drilling at the well will continue until it hits the kick off point at 9800 feet and the intermediate casing will be set.

The Rangers Well is controlled by Brookside’s subsidiary, Black Mesa Energy, and is being drilled by Kenai Drilling Company.

Rangers is being drilled to a total depth of around 17,750 feet and received local authority approval to drill late last month.

On the market this morning, Brookside was in the grey and trading at 1.8 cents per share at 11:13 am AEDT.
