Bulletin Resources (BNR) has confirmed the presence of spodumene at the Deep Purple and Creek pegmatite outcrops.

These outcrops are located along the Eastern Pegmatite Trend which is part of the Ravensthorpe lithium project in WA.

The project area covers 57 square kilometres and is located 12 kilometres southwest and along strike of Orocobre’s (ORE) Mt Cattlin lithium mine.

Bulletin undertook sampling during a site visit last month which returned spodumene results from rock chips including 6.54 per cent, 2.57 per cent and 2.4 per cent lithium dioxide.

About two kilometres south of the Deep Purple and Creek pegmatites, the company identified a large, sub-cropping pegmatite that spans 300 metres of strike.

The pegmatite has been named “Big Pegmatite” and BNR believes it indicates strong potential for further lithium and additional pegmatites.

Chairman Paul Poli was pleased to have confirmed spodumene-bearing pegmatites.

“The potential for pegmatites as seen on our first field trip augers well for additional pegmatites to be found,” he said.

“The Ravensthorpe Lithium Project is a great addition to our portfolio, and we are keen to advance the exploration at this exciting prospect as quickly as we can.”

Bulletin is waiting on assays from other collected samples which are still being analysed at the lab.

Company shares ended the day 6.67 per cent in the green to close at 8 cents.
