Bulletin Resources (BNR) has recommenced reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Lake Rebecca Gold Project.

The project is located roughly 150 kilometres east-northeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The company will kick off a new 2000-metre RC drilling program at the project, continuing the work started during previous programs conducted onsite.

In particular, the program will follow up on positive results from previous RC programs and explore depth extensions to recent air-core (AC) drilling intercepts.

The drilling will also target areas near the portion of the Lake Rebecca project owned by Apollo Consolidated (AOP). Bulletin Resources and Matsa Resources (MAT) sold a section of the Lake Rebecca joint venture to AOP early last month.

The companies sold a 400-metre wide, 1.35-square-kilometre strip of the project, for $5.6 million in cash and shares. The purchased area was added to AOP’s Rebecca project, which shares a border with Bulletin Resources’ tenements.

The company’s latest round of drilling will focus on areas directly along the strike north of AOP’s Rebecca lodes.

Bulletin Resources has even more reason to conduct a new drilling program, after extending its own Lake Rebecca project just two days ago. The company was granted two new tenements in the vicinity of Lake Rebecca, by the Western Australian Department of Mines Industry Regulation and Safety.

The two newly granted tenements collectively cover 285 square kilometres, bringing the Lake Rebecca’s total project area to 575 square kilometres.

Bulletin Resources is down 5.41 per cent, trading at seven cents per share at 1:49 pm AEDT.
