The funds will mainly be allocated to fast-tracking and completing the Rover 1 bankable feasibility study (BFS) by June, including the pilot plant and geotechnical analysis. Castile will also invest in exploration drilling to commence in April CY26 on a high profile targets, the company confirmed in a release today.

Located 70 kilometres southwest of Tennant Creek, the Rover 1 project is being developed to produce a range of downstream critical and precious minerals, including gold doré, 99% copper, 99% cobalt, and high-grade 96.5% magnetite.

Castile’s executive chairman, Mark Hepburn, said the explorer had been happy to see a strong response from existing shareholders; he also celebrated some new institutions and private investors joining the register.

“We will be using these funds to fast-track and execute our clear strategy of developing the Rover 1 project. Our BFS will be completed by June, and now incorporates additional material from the recent 41% uplift in our estimate and the surge in gold, copper, bismuth, and cobalt prices over the past twelve months.

“We look forward to presenting the outcomes of the BFS to investors later this year.”

Mr Hepburn said upcoming drilling will explore targets generated with new ambient noise tomography (ANT) survey technology near infrastructure it plans to develop.

Canaccord Genuity and Blue Ocean Equities are acting as joint lead managers and bookrunners to the placement.
