Castle Minerals (CDT) has intersected up to 4.91g/t gold via a rock chip sampling program at the Polelle Project in WA.

Polelle lies 25 kilometres south of Meekatharra and hosts a minimally explored greenstone belt consisting of lithological units and major structural features.

Rock chip sampling was undertaken to follow-up anomalous results identified from the recently completed auger sampling program.

Of the 20 samples taken, four confirmed the presence of anomalous gold and, in turn, the fertility of the project.

Anomalous gold was also intersected towards the western boundary of Polelle between felsic sediments and mafic volcanics.

Additionally, Castle has begun an infill soil sampling program to polish the rock chip samples for an upcoming drill program.

Other target areas around the Lordy Bore area are drill-ready.

Subject to lab turnaround times and drill rig availability, drilling is expected to be completed in Q2 2021.

“These high-grade rock-chip results of up to 4.9g/t gold from the Polelle project reinforce the recently reported auger sampling which delineated six zones of anomalism,” Managing Director Stephen Stone said.

“An infill soil sampling program has just commenced to tighten up some of the auger anomalies ahead of drill testing,” he added.

Castle is steady on the market and shares are trading at 1 cent at 1:57 pm AEDT.
