Chase Mining has announced additional evaluation of priority target anomalies from the VTEM Max survey completed at Lorraine and Alotta-Delphi-Zullo project areas.

The survey proved to be a successful way of identifying massive sulphide conductors and outlining previously know nickel-copper sulphide deposits.

Within Lorraine 31 anomalies were defined by the Versatile Time Domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey comprising of five priority 1 targets, ten priority 2 targets, twelve priority 3 targets and four priority 4 targets.

The principal targets are the nickel-copper-cobalt sulphides associated with the base zone of differentiated sills in the Greenstone Belt. There is also significant recorded gold at the Lorraine Mine that needs further evaluation.

Results from the VTEM survey indicate that the geology of the survey area is generally very resistive and as a result, the survey has been a good test for sulphide style conductors.

Modelling of the priority two targets at Lorraine is currently underway and should be completed by early next week. A proposed provisional diamond drill program is in place to test the priority two targets based on the resistivity depth inversion data. The diamond drill will consist of 10 holes at 2,250m.

At Alotta, 11 target anomalies were identified with one high priority target. The remainder consists of a mix between medium and low priority.

Results from the high priority target returned a flat-lying, high conductance source approximately 60m x 60m and a depth of 90m. Previous drilling has intersected this area and requires reconciliation.

The Alotta deposit occurs over a 75m strike, being 20m wide and 80m deep. The deposit has a strong single peak coincident and very magnetic response.

Planning has commenced for the drill program which will facilitate permit application and ground access. Drilling at Lorraine will occur in late June and the market will be updated once results are finalised.
