Corazon Mining (CZN) has identified a new magmatic sulphide zone at the Lynn Lake Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Sulphide Project in Canada.

Ongoing drilling is testing several high-priority targets, which includes recently identified geophysical conductors.

Roughly 1600 metres of diamond core drilling will be undertaken across three targets and depending on results, follow-up work will be carried out.

The first hole, FLC2021-24, has been completed, and Corazon has identified encouraging visual evidence of significant sulphide mineralisation.

This could potentially open up a new area of exploration that consists of multiple geophysical conductors.

The hole was drilled to 485 metres, beginning in sulphidic sediments and ending in sediments.

The sulphide mineralisation intersected in hole 24 is consistent with the Lynn Lake style of mafic intrusive magmatic sulphide systems.

Iron is the dominant sulphide with varying quantities of nickel and copper mineralisation also present.

The strongest level of sulphide mineralisation measures 1.92 metres in length and averages between 15 per cent to 25 per cent magmatic sulphide.

Corazon is now in the process of drilling the second hole, FLC2021-26, which will test a strong conductor 250 metres west of hole 24.

Additionally, site preparations are underway for the South Pipe target which is the largest conductive anomaly in the area.

Corazon will release results to the market as they become available.

Shares in Corazon are up 9.09 per cent and are trading at 6 cents at 12:36 pm AEDT.
