Critical Resources (CRR) has reported assays confirming lithium mineralisation at its Mavis Lake lithium project in Ontario, Canada.

The results were consistent with earlier visual results, with spodumene-bearing concentrate intersected in 39 of 42 drill holes to date.

The best results came from the hole dubbed MF22-60 with 7.63 metres at 1.35 per cent lithium oxide from 11.5 metres downhole.

The company has begun a 5000-metre phase two drill program, focusing on defining a JORC-compliant resource with step-out and infill drilling.

Managing Director Alex Biggs said he is pleased with the progress being made at the project.

“We are pleased to announce our second round of assays from Mavis Lake and are excited to see some high-grade intersections.

“As we start Phase 2 of drilling, we look forward to increasing the strike extent of known mineralisation and testing the identified geophysical anomalies,” Mr Biggs said.
