Cyprium Metals has commenced its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Eelya South prospect in Western Australia.

This announcement follows the recent approval of the programs of work from the WA Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Saftey.

The 2430 metre RC drilling program is being conducted in three phases, each dependent on the mineralisation results from the phase before.

Executive Director, Barry Cahill is looking forward to the results from the drilling.

“We are very pleased to commence drilling at the Eelya South prospect following the recent completion of a surface sampling programme whereby high-grade copper samples were observed from a shear occurring at surface for more than five hundred metres in length,” he said.

The programs have been undertaken as part of the company’s strategy to increase its copper resource base at the Cue Copper Project. Eelya South prospect is located only five kilometres to the south of the Hollandaire copper mineralisation.
