Deep Yellow (DYL) has generated further “positive” uranium results from drilling at its Omahola project in Namibia.

Omahola comprises the Ongolo, MS7 and Inca deposits, each of which is held by Deep Yellow through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Reptile Uranium Namibia.

The company has been focusing on a two-stage, 10,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program at Omahola, with phase two of the program now underway.

Deep Yellow has now completed 43 holes for 2950 metres, with 30 holes in the program remaining.

Deep Yellow reported three resource definition holes for 924 metres at the Ongolo prospect confirmed ore grade continuity, returning 14 metres at 381 parts per million (ppm) triuranium octoxide from 204 metres.

Meanwhile, the company reported its best results from shallow drilling at the MS7 west zone, which included 29 metres at 189 ppm uranium oxide from 33 metres and 28 metres at 190 ppm uranium oxide from 36 metres.

Deep Yellow said the drill program would continue to test the prospective zones between MS7, Inca and Inca South.
