- ParaZero will integrate its SafeAir autonomous parachute technology with DMI’s DS30 hydrogen-powered endurance drone
- The multi-phase integration project will generate over $150,000 in initial revenue and should be completed in mid-2021
- Delta Drone International is up 8.82 per cent and trading at 37 cents per share
Delta Drone International (DLT) brand ParaZero has signed its largest multinational original equipment manufacturer integration deal.
The company’s deal is with leading South Korean industrial equipment manufacturer, Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI).
Through the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on combining their respective drone technologies. Specifically, ParaZero will integrate its patented SafeAir autonomous parachute technology with DMI’s DS30 hydrogen-powered endurance drone.
DMI’s award-winning DS30 is the first mass-manufactured hydrogen fuel cell drone in the world. The drone features flight times exceeding two hours, and a range of up to 80 kilometres.
The multi-phase integration project will involve research and development coordination, system architecture, design, ground deployment testing, system finalisation, and ASTM F3322-18 (American Society for Testing and Materials) testing and certification.
Delta Drone’s CEO, Christopher Clark, commented on the collaboration between the company’s safety specialist brand and an industry leader like DMI.
“We are delighted to welcome Doosan as a strategic partner to enhance the safety of their unique hydrogen fuel cell-powered DS30 drone by integrating our industry-leading SafeAir parachute technology,” he said.
“The challenge has always been ensuring that drones can safely fly in urban environments. We believe that as OEMs see the commercial and regulatory benefits of designing the highest level of safety into their product design, Delta Drone International will continue playing a leading role in helping the drone industry ensure safety,” he added.
The multi-phase integration project will generate over $150,000 of initial revenue for ParaZero, and is expected to reach completion in mid-2021.
