Alongside news of its partnership with Amazon, Digital Wine Ventures (DW8) has announced it shipped 25,284 cases in May, representing a significant 619 per cent increase on the same month last year.

The cases shipped last month were generated by 11,736 orders which equates to an average of 2.15 cases per order shipped.

Similarly, the consumer discretionary stock reported shipping just over 23,000 cases in April this year which marked a 580 per cent growth on April 2020.

In addition, DW8’s WINEDEPOT business has partnered with Amazon which means it can officially list its wines on the world’s largest retail platform.

Under the partnership, WINEDEPOT will manage the storage, picking and packing of products while leveraging Amazon’s network for the delivery of orders generated through its Australian marketplace.

Further details on the partnership will be released in due course.

Finally, the company welcomed 24 new suppliers who signed up to its wine distribution platform in May. New suppliers include Hidden Creek Wines, Bruno and George Wines and Verdun Park Wines.

The new suppliers also include another nine from New Zealand such as Trinity Hill and Wrights Family Winegrowers.

Company shares were up 7.53 per cent and were trading at 10 cents at 10:31 am AEST.
