Digital Wine Ventures’ (DW8) WINEDEPOT business has shipped nearly 21,000 cases in February, up 32 per cent from the previous month.

Notably, the February shipment is up 930 per cent on this time last year.

In total, 9494 orders were processed during the month, which is up over 918 per cent compared to this time last year and 28 per cent on January 2021.

The wine distribution platform shipped nearly 16,000 cases in January.

Additionally, the wine merchant has been awarded climate-neutral status by
Leaders for Climate Action (LFCA).

LFCA helps digital businesses develop a global economy without greenhouse emissions, targeting 100 per cent renewable energies by 2050.

Getting behind this initiative, CEO Dean Taylor has become a member of LFCA with the aim of reducing DW8’s current carbon footprint.

Due to this, DW8’s Chief Financial Officer, Matthew Johnson, has been appointed as the company’s Climate Officer and will oversee the measurement and reduction of the organisation’s carbon footprint.

On the market this morning, DW8 is up 20.8 per cent and trading at 9.3 cents per share at 10:12 am AEDT.
