Dragontail Limited has announced it has installed its ALGO Dispatching Platform over 250 new stores during the month of May. This marks the total installations to more than 1,500 stores.
By using a sophisticated optimisation algorithm the ALGO optimises and manages the process of food delivery. It begins at the food preparation stage and goes through all the process until delivery to the customer.
The system looks at every order location, driver location and meal status – completely eliminating the need for a human manager. With food delivery and preparation being a fast-paced business it is sometimes difficult for managers to handle everything at once.
ALGO calculates every single second and displays the best possible decisions in both the kitchen and dispatch area.
Managing Director of Dragontail Ido Levanon is pleased with the milestone achieved.
“Achieving this milestone is very significant and exciting as it reflects accelerated growth, validity of our products and the trust we received from our customers over the world,” he said.
In May 2019 Dragontail completed the nationwide rollout of its AI quality control (QT) camera to more than 800 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
The camera was installed at Domino’s Pizza Stores and is believed to drastically improve product quality and consistency throughout all stores in Australia and New Zealand.
This makes Domino’s the first pizza chain to roll out a QT camera and will tackle the business’s most common complaint of poorly made pizzas and incorrect topping.
The technology will learn and improve the more times it is used and will become more accurate in identifying ingredients and food quality.
“The QT camera is based on a new ground breaking technology which leads the Quick Service Restaurant industry to a new era. The ability to save resources, create high customer satisfaction, retain customers and manage the stores more efficiently are significant,” Mr Levanon said.
