Dreadnought Resources (DRE) has unveiled results from its recent fixed loop electromagnetic (FLEM) survey at the Tarraji-Yampi project in Western Australia’s Kimberley region.

The survey discovered six coincident geochemical, magnetic and “strong” conductor abnormalities, with three identifying outcropping mineralisation.

The three moderate to weak conductors were also discovered with coincident geochemical anomalies, including Thunder North, where a mineralised vein was uncovered.

The project has identified a total of 14 targets which have a similar geochemical signature to the prosperous Orion project.

Dreadnought’s Managing Director Dean Tuck said several of the anomalies discovered are “stronger” than those uncovered at Orion, leading the company to believe the site has good prospects.

“We are excited about the prospect of making additional discoveries and proving the scale of the Cu-Ag-Au-Co opportunity at Tarraji-Yampi,” Dean Tuck said.

The site hadn’t been explored for more than 50 years before Dreadnought acquired 80 per cent of the project in 2019.

A reverse drilling program will commence in August and September, with all targets sitting in prospective lithostructural settings.

DRE lifted 9.8 per cent to 5.6 cents at 10:38am AEST.
