Dreadnought Resources (DRE) has completed reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Metzke’s Find Prospect.

Metzke’s Find is part of the Illaara Gold-VMS Project which is located 160 kilometres northwest of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

A total of six holes, for 568 metres, were drilled at the prospect and all intersected the targeted lode which is made up of recrystallised quartz sulphide veining.

“Dreadnought is pleased to have completed follow up drilling at the historic high-grade Metzke’s Find on time and on budget,” Managing Director Dean Tuck commented.

“The visual results are encouraging, and we look forward announcing the assay results during July 2020,” he added.

Metzke’s Find has been subject to limited exploration, with work focused around historic workings.

In March 2020, a total of 12 RC holes were completed and confirmed bedrock gold mineralisation at the prospect.

This program returned significant results of two metres at 6.8g/t gold from 79 metres including one metre at 12.5g/t gold from 80 metres, and four metres at 1.9g/t gold from 64 metres including two metres at 3.1g/t gold from 64 metres.

Dreadnought is now aiming to return to the Rocky Dam Prospect by mid-July to follow up on the recent near-surface gold intercepts.

Company shares are up an even 20 per cent and are trading for 0.6 cents each at 2:39 pm AEST.
