DroneShield has announced a new partnership with Bosch under the Bosch Integration Partner Program (IPP).
The IPP is designed to enhance the way Bosch and partners work together to enable all of the customer’s safety and security needs are met.
Access is provided to integration tools, tutorials and support to enable a seamless transition into the platforms, applications and systems.
Based in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States DroneShield is a worldwide leader in drone security technology. It has developed leading drone security solutions that protect people, organisations and infrastructure from the intrusion of drones.
On July 23 of this year DroneShield also announced it had entered a partnership with Altitude Angel which is claimed to be the “world’s foremost” unmanned traffic management (UMT) provider.
Altitude Angel developed a traffic management system, GuardianUMT, which enables airport operators to integrate the unmanned vehicles into controlled airspace.
DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik has stated that the company is looking forward to working with a company like Bosch.
“We look forward to working with Bosch across customer segments. Most customers seek to make the most use of their existing installed hardware and systems, and adding our capabilities in the large installed and growing base that Bosch has in Asia-Pacific and globally, is expected to drive significant value to the customers,” he said.
Bosch’s security and safety systems provide a range of surveillance solutions globally. It leads the market with its range and customer adoption of its products across many industries such as prisons, airports and infrastructure.
“Bosch is pleased to add DroneShield as the preferred counter drone partner to our suite of capabilities,” Bosch Business Unit Security Director Hsiang Nung Kuah said.
“Drone security is becoming a rapidly increasing problem for our existing and prospective customers across the sectors, and we expect DroneShield’s capability to service this emerging need.”
Going forward DroneShield will be offering an integrated system for drone detection and mitigation with its products integrating with Bosch’s video surveillance products.
This product integration has been completed and and the combined product is now available to customers.
As of 12:51pm AEST DroneShield shares are up 15.8 per cent to trade for 22 cents in a market cap of $36.74 million.
