Dubber Corporation’s (DUB) Voice Intelligence Cloud has been chosen as the recording and data capture platform for IBM Cloud for Telecommunications.

Dubber claims to be the world’s most scalable Unified Call Recording (UCR) service and Voice Intelligence Cloud adopted by multiple world-leading telecom carriers.

Its solutions allow service providers to offer their customers critical solutions, such as call recording for compliance, business intelligence, sentiment analysis, artificial intelligence and more, on any phone.

The company also has the only UCR solution that’s integrated and compatible with IBM Cloud for Telecommunications.

“In simple terms, IBM and Dubber enable service providers to differentiate and create value from the conversations occurring on the network by making call recording and voice data as a service ubiquitous and open. All conversations can be captured in the Cloud, and converted to AI-enriched data,” Dubber Co-founder James Slaney said.

This milestone expands Dubber’s global presence in UCR and voice data-as-a-service. It increases Dubber’s ability to offer new services to more than 140 global customers and allows IBM to do the same with its global network of service provider customers.

“Dubber on IBM Cloud for Telecommunications ushers in a new era of Unified Call Recording from any end-point with all voice data unified in one Cloud platform delivering insights, automation and compliance like never before,” the announcement stated.

Importantly, Dubber’s point of difference is that its solutions eliminate the need for costly hardware, services and lock-in contracts. They also allows service providers to eliminate operating costs while boosting performance.

Revenue from this partnership hasn’t been disclosed as it will depend on the take-up of the service.

Company shares are up 8.46 per cent and are trading for $1.41 around midday trade.
