Duketon has obtained high-grade gold hits at Barlee.

Duketon Mining (ASX: DKM) has hit the highest-grade gold intersection from its drilling programs at at the Barlee gold project approximately 200km north of Southern Cross in WA.

All assay results have now been received from the recent RC drilling program, which comprised 17 drillholes for a total of 2,150m at the Gromit and Astro prospects.

The program was designed to follow up previously reported gold mineralisation and further assess the potential of these early-stage prospects.

The high-grade gold intersection of 20.16 grams per tonne (g/t) was hit at a vertical depth of approximately 130m.

Notably, mineralisation at Astro was intersected over a strike extent exceeding 450m, within a broader 1,800m gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly identified by UltraFine (UFF) sampling.

“The latest results from Astro are encouraging and reinforce our confidence in the high-grade exploration potential of the Barlee Gold Project. The intersection of 20.16 g/t gold, within a broader 15-metre mineralised interval, is particularly exciting and demonstrates the potential for high-grade gold mineralisation at depth,” MD, Stuart Fogarty, said.

“Importantly, drilling has confirmed gold mineralisation over a strike extent exceeding 450 metres, within a much larger 1.8-kilometre gold-in-soil anomaly. This presents a compelling opportunity to grow the mineralised footprint, with significant areas of the broader geochemical anomaly still to be systematically tested.

“With further RC drilling planned for November and additional geochemical results pending, we are excited about the opportunity to build on these results, identify further high-priority targets and unlock the considerable exploration potential of the Barlee gold project.”

The recently completed drilling at Astro returned significant gold intersections extending the known mineralised zone over a strike extent exceeding 450m. Results included 15m at 1.62 g/t from 154m, including 10m at 20.16 g/t; 8.0m at 2.60 g/t from 50m, including 4.0m at 4.50 g/t; and 4.0m at 1.01 g/t from 32m, including 1.0m at 3.08 g/t.

These results build on previously reported intersections, including 9.0m at 0.58 g/t including 2.0m at 1.48 g/t and 1.0m at 4.68 g/tat the end of hole.

Duketon will now complete follow-up RC drilling at Astro and Gromit and obtain outstanding drilling at Odie, with a program scheduled for November 2026.

DKM was steady at 8.0¢ with a Mkt cap of $9.980M prior to markets opening.
