Aeris Environmental Limited has entered a distribution agreement with Aus Made Express International Limited.

Aeries design and manufacture a number of eco-friendly hygienic products. Aeris will begin selling its ‘Southern Cross Range’  to Chinese consumers through Aus Made.

Terms give Aus Made exclusive distribution rights to Aeris products for three years. Minimum launch year purchase is placed at AUD$8.5 million.

Products in this round of sales will include skin and surface paper wipes and hospital grade disinfectant. If satisfactory performance is met, an extension of the agreement is expected.

Aus Made has already implemented preliminary pre-launch sales and regulatory costs. Aus Made CEO Liu Huifend said the first round of products represents Aeries serving Chinese consumers for a cleaner future.

The Chinese middle-class consumer market is showing high demand for Australian made products.

Aeris Chairman Maurie Stang says Southern Cross wipes are completely paper-based, made from renewable materials.

“The global market for improved environmental hygiene products is growing rapidly, and the Southern Cross dry wipes are targeting the replacement of plastic-based wipes, which have a very significant and negative effect on the environment, landfill, our oceans, and our waterways,” he said.

First orders have already been received for sale and are expected to ship by the early third quarter this year.
