  • Elementos (ELT) has appointed Joe David as Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective from April 13, 2021
  • The appointment comes with a fixed remuneration of $275,000 per annum, plus a short-term incentive of $50,000 for the first twelve months from commencement.

Elementos (ELT) has appointed Joe David as CEO of the company, effective from tomorrow.  

The appointment comes with a fixed remuneration of $275,000 per annum, plus a short term incentive of $50,000 for the first twelve months from commencement.

Joe David comes from Project Advisory Group where he provided consulting services to major natural resources development project over the past four years, including Salt Lake Potash and BBI Group.

Most recently, Joe held the role of Executive Development Manager at Flinders Mines, where he concentrated on the management and competition of all on-ground drilling and data collection, cost estimating, engineering development, and environment survey and study management activities.

The company says with surging tin prices, a strong outlook for tin and significant progress made on Oropesa, the timing is right to appoint a CEO with a strong mining and finance background.

“I am excited to have been able to attract a candidate of Joe’s calibre to the company,” said Elementos Chairman, Andy Greig.

“Joe’s technical capabilities and leadership skills provide the ideal foundation to drive the company’s projects through to production.”

Joe’s focus at Elementos will be on the finalisation of the Oropesa drilling program and pre-feasibility study, before moving the project immediately into a bankable feasibility study.

He will also undertake a review of the development options for the Cleveland Project.

Elementos shares are trading flat at 1.1 cents at 3:30 pm AEST.
