Wireless tech company, Etherstack, has secured another order from a federal department in the United States.

The company specialises in creating specific radio products, which eliminate risk for defence and government institutions.

Etherstack propose the world of radio is changing, and it is crucial to build a service which can adapt and be used across different platforms.

The company’s technology is now being used by the US State Department, who is the sixth US federal agency to begin using Etherstack’s products. The Department of Justice, Department of Interior and Department of Homeland Security are among the other factions using Etherstack’s devices.

“The business is being driven by recommendations in a tight user community whose professionals put their lives on the line daily to protect our families,” Vice President, Doug Chapman, said.

“These wins take years of testing and vetting to get over the line and we keep building on each success,” he said.

Additionally, the company’s technology has been purchased by a state branch of the Australian police. This adds to the string of Australian federal government departments and state-based emergency services who are using Etherstack’s products.

The CEO of Etherstack, David Deacon, said: “Our experience is that once new clients taste the product and experience our committed local support, not only do they come back for more, but spread the word.”

Etherstack’s share price has increased over 20 per cent today following news of the new purchases. It currently sits at $0.20 per share.
