EV Resources (EVR) has received rock chip results from over 30 prospects within the Khartoum project in Queensland.

Throughout April and May, 196 rock chip samples were collected from outcrop and historical mine workings primarily from the Boulder, Stannary Hills and Brownville areas.

Multiple high-grade tin and base metal results were encountered and EVR is currently undertaking follow-up mapping and geochemical sampling where results indicate the potential for economic mineralisation.

Overall, up to 4.66 per cent copper, 24.4 per cent zinc, 4.62 per cent tungsten, 3.69 per cent lead, 211 parts per million (ppm) silver and 196ppm indium was intersected.

Reverse circulation drilling has also been completed at the Boulder prospect with 23 holes drilled to follow up a drilling program completed in 2007 and test multiple new targets identified with elevated tin values.

Samples are currently at the lab and processing has begun on the initial batch.

Once results have been received, EVR will test targets that were not tested in the initial program due to the rugged topography of the area.

Shares in EVR were trading 3.57 per cent lower at 2.7 cents at 12:58 pm AEST.
