Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) has received positive final assay results from its maiden 2026 reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Mt Monger gold project southeast of Kalgoorlie in WA.

The results include further broad and high-grade gold intercepts at the Duchess of York prospect, together with the first gold mineralisation intersected at depth at the Gladiator prospect.

Director, Glenn Grayson, said the final tranche of assays continues the pattern established across the campaign — broad zones of structurally controlled gold mineralisation punctuated by high-grade shoots.

“With our maiden RC program now complete, the focus shifts immediately to expanding on these results. Importantly, the mineralisation intersected to date is generally shallow — well within the reach of aircore drilling — making it a highly effective tool for the next phase,” Mr Grayson said.

“Aircore drilling commences next week, systematically testing structural, geochemical and geophysical targets along the extensions of Duchess of York and across our regional prospects. Follow-up RC drilling will then commence as soon as possible, testing the best results from the aircore program and continuing to build on the success at Duchess of York.

“The zones we’ve intersected sit within a broader mineralised system that remains open in multiple directions, and we’ll be testing whether the same setting can deliver the next Duchess elsewhere across Mt Monger.”

Mr Grayson told shareholders that yaken as a whole, Evergold’s maiden RC program at Duchess of York has been highly successful.

“Drilling has confirmed both broad and high-grade zones of gold mineralisation, extended known mineralisation into previously untested ground down-dip and along strike, and demonstrated that the system remains open at depth.

“Based on these results, Evergold is planning an immediate aircore program, to be followed by further RC drilling at Duchess of York, designed to further test the continuity, geometry and grade distribution of mineralisation at a spacing suitable to support the potential estimation of a maiden mineral resource.”

EG1 was up 4.00% to 2.6¢. Mkt cap $10.69M.
