- Family Zone says its £75.5 million merger with UK-based Smoothwall last year opens the door to cross selling to a potential five million Smoothwall student licences, worth about $30 million in recurring revenue

Family Zone Cyber Safety (FZO) has launched its classroom management product Classwize in the United Kingdom.
The company said its Classwize technology provides screen visibility, internet control, messaging, reports, analytics and further capability to support teachers in today’s digitised classroom.
Family Zone said the product had to be modified in order to be compliant for the UK market and was now classroom-ready.
“It represents a significant and global effort considering technical and regulatory complexity,” Managing Director Tim Levy said.
The company said it brought forward the targeted date for readiness to before one of Europe’s biggest edu-tech conference BETT in London on March 23-25.
