Felix Gold (FXG) has discovered multiple new gold zones at its Treasure Creek project in Alaska.

It comes as the company received assays from 11 holes drilled on Treasure Creek Reconnaissance Line One which were targeting extensions to the Eastgate Central zone.

Highlights from drilling returned 12.2 metres at 2.65 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 73.2 metres including 3.1 metres at 9.92 g/t gold.

FXG said the results open up a large new multi-kilometre gold zone between two structural corridors.

The company has now reported assays for 20 out of 131 holes completed across the project.

Managing Director and CEO Joe Webb said the maiden drill program is progressively discovering multiple gold zones.

“The reported results from the first line of outright reconnaissance drilling at Treasure Creek are significant,” he said.

“They show multi-kilometre extensions of the Eastgate Central Prospect to the south-west and significantly open-up another previously untested multi-kilometre mineralised zone.”

Shares were trading steady at 15.5 cents at 2:02 pm AEST.
