First Graphene (FGR) has released PureGRAPH AQUA, a new range of water-dispersed graphene additive products.

The PureGRAPH AQUA products come pre-dispersed in a water solution and supplied in a paste format.

They are available in various graphene platelet sizes and concentrations, ranging from five microns to 50 microns. This makes the products more flexible to the formulations of customers, whose feedback prompted First Graphene to develop the super-dispersed graphene-water product range.

PureGRAPH AQUA can be easily mixed into water-based or solvent-based products, such as paints, latex, and cement composites. When used in cement and rubber applications, the graphene additive products provide improved mechanical properties, as well as health, safety and environment benefits.

The larger 50-micron platelet sizes available within the PureGRAPH AQUA product range are particularly useful for applications in the cement and rubber industries. This is because the larger platelet size and aspect ratio increases the mechanical properties of the final result.

First Graphene’s CEO, Mike Bell, commented on the company’s expanding range of products.

“We continue to develop new applications for PureGRAPH powder additives, but after listening to our customers, it was clear that we needed to develop an additional product that was easier to use and mix into specific liquid systems,” he said.

“PureGRAPH AQUA is already on trial in a number of new, exciting projects and we see this new product range opening up a number of new market applications for our high-performing graphene additives,” he added.

First Graphene closed 1.89 per cent in the red to trade at 26 cents per share.
