Fleetwood Corporation’s, subsidiary Modular Building Systems (MBS) has been awarded a contract by the New South Wales government.

The contract has not been announced yet, but the company said it will be soon. Fleetwood did say the contract was worth approximately $35 million.

MBS is an Australian owned company that is based in NSW and specialises in the manufacture and installation of prefabricated affordable modular buildings.

Hansen Yucken is a national Australian construction company. It claims to have completed over 4500 projects and has managed the construction of several Australian landmark buildings.

Fleetwood CEO Brad Denison is pleased with the contract.

“Hansen Yunken’s and Fleetwood’s contract award is a testament to the quality of our offering and strength of MBS,” Brad said.

“Importantly, MBS has enabled Fleetwood to expand its footprint in the NSW market and supports Fleetwood to continue being a market leader throughout Australia,” he added.

The contract is for 2 years and the company will update the market once the NSW Government contract is announced.

On market close, Fleetwood is down 1.49 per cent and is selling shares for $1.98 apiece.
