Communications company Flexiroam (FRX) has signed a commercial agreement with BP Mobile.

Under the agreement BP Mobile will be a white labelled eSIM reseller of Flexiroam, providing bundled data within BP Mobile’s Second Phone Number app.

According to the company its app currently has over 100 thousand monthly users.

The agreement is expected to provide Flexiroam an annualised revenue of $275,000, based on monthly sales forecasts of BP Mobile.

The Second Phone Number app operates on IOS and Android in the U.S., Europe and the Americas, with the deal to be undertaken for a minimum of one year.

The app allows travellers to use an additional phone number via eSIM, removing the need for customers to use a physical sim card when overseas.

The company says the deal will be automatically renewed for a further 1 year, upon payment of an annual Reseller License Fee of $5,000.

Flexiroam Chief Executive Officer Marc Barnett says the company’s aiming to rapidly scale up network ultilisation.

“Our sales team is building a strong pipeline of white labelling opportunities with reseller partners across several verticals,” he said.

Shares in Flexiroam were trading up 1.18 per cent at 4.3 cents each at 2:05 pm AEDT.
